Volleyball Australia President Craig Carracher and Chief Executive Officer Mathieu Meriaux today announced that Mr. Meriaux will step down from his position due to personal reasons effective from December 15, 2017.
Mr. Meriaux said “I have thoroughly enjoyed the challenge leading VA through a period of massive change. The journey has been amazing and I will keep very fond memories of the experiences we shared and the incredible people that make up such a passionate community."
“From establishing a domestically and globally recognisable brand, “The helloworld travel Volleyroos”, to reforming the way VA invests collectively in growing participation, every aspect was challenging yet rewarding.”
“It was particularly exciting to host many international events and give our athletes the opportunity to play in front of family and friends.”
“Bigger and better things are ahead for Volleyball in Australia and I will be cheering them on as the helloworld travel Volleyroos number one fan.”
