Two Australian Volleyball Academy players make their senior debut at the Asian Beach Volleyball Championships in Thailand

Australian Volleyball Academy (AVA) player and Year 12 student, Jasmine Fleming, and fellow junior, Stefanie Fejes, recently made their debut in a senior event at the Asian Beach Volleyball Championships in Udon Thani, Thailand.

Under the guidance of AVA head coach, Margo Wiltens, Stefanie and Jasmine will also represent Australia at the Asian Beach Volleyball Under 19 Championships.

The AVA contains multiple programs, of which beach volleyball is the first to compete internationally.

The AVA’s National Performance Development program inducted its athletes, which included new athletes and former Centre of Excellence players, on 3 February in Canberra. Brad Tutton and Marty Collins will lead the integrated volleyball components in Canberra while Margo Wiltens will be leading the beach volleyball part of the AVA program.
