Pirates and Heat remain undefeated in the men’s Australian Volleyball Super League while Canberra, Adelaide and Queensland lead the women’s


The Queensland Pirates completed a clean sweep in both matches against the Melbourne Vipers to remain undefeated through three rounds of the men’s Australian Volleyball Super League. Queensland won: 3-0, 3-0.

They sit on top of the ladder board alongside the Canberra Heat who defeated the UTSSU Shield 3-0, 3-1. Both the Queensland Pirates and the Canberra Heat have won six from six so far this season.

In the other men’s games, the Adelaide Storm won both matches against the Western Australian Steel 3-1, 3-1.

In the women’s, the Canberra Heat, the Adelaide Storm and the Queensland Pirates sit on top of the ladder with all three teams having a four from six record so far this season.

Canberra defeated UTSSU Shield 3-1, 3-1, Adelaide accounted for the Western Australian Steel 3-2, 3-0, while the Queensland Pirates were too strong for the Melbourne Vipers 3-2, 3-2.

In round four, Melbourne is at home to UTSSU Shield, Canberra hosts Adelaide and Western Australia faces Queensland.
