Volleyball Australia is seeking applicants for the position of Head Coach of the Women Volleyroos – the Australian National Women’s Indoor Volleyball Team.
The appointment will commence in April, and will require full time availability to be with the team for periods in May, June/July and August.
For the rest of the year, the Head Coach is expected to monitor the players in their daily training environment – some are based overseas, some in Australia, planning for the team, and providing advice to Volleyball Australia as required.The Head Coach also oversees the Under 23 National Team program, and will be closely connected to the VA Centre of Excellence which is based in Canberra.
The Volleyroos have a planned international season in 2019 which is as follows:
5 May – 26 MayTraining and matches in Europe – Poland and Slovenia
Late May (TBD)Possible Asian Qualification Tournament for the FIVB Challenger Cup
26 June - 30 JuneFIVB Challenger Cup (if qualified)
28 June – 2 JulyTraining and matches in Bangkok

The Head Coach will be paid a contract fee which covers the time when the team is together, and the monitoring role outside of that team.
